55 - Old English filled my mind. And I came up with a funky rhyme
All the way home I knew that I wanted to start this entry with the word Annoyed, I just can't remember what I was annoyed with/at which is a shame. Did see some awesome style rave dancing while walking through an underpass this morning, that cheered me up and washed away all the annoyed. The kid was fucking mashed off his tits, doing a move called The Chernobyl Child if I'm not mistaken. Just after 7am this was.
Anyway, drum roll... Some exciting news. I'v entered pre-production of my first film as writer, producer & director. Its still in its infancy but I'm going into it with a colleague from work (One-Speed), I will probably have to use all the fee I got for my acting role in Flutter but it has huge potential so I don't care [to be honest I'm still sitting on the cheque], casting has began, and One-Speed is to play the lead. It will only be short, and probably released on/via YouTube but it has real potential - my dream is that one day it will be remembered in the same vein as Chimpanzee riding on a Segway, Tlickling Slow Loris, and this diamond I was introduced last night : Kisha - Tick Tock Parody. Anyway, will keep you updated, and will post the rushes, early screen grabs etc when I have some. RESPECT ME (please).
Now, what have I been up to since my last entry? Nothing, so I will talk about shite.
First off, saw, and managed to covertly take a picture a picture of, what I consider to be the most mental legs in the world. The rest of the her wasn't much better, she was one of those head mental ones, who is allowed out (and a mobile phone, which she fucking screamed into, shattering the peaceful Sunday morning I was kind of enjoying). That's what you get for using Budget Prostitutes!
Works been OK actually, the creative juices are flowing, I'm fasicinated by a coleagues hair, no one is being cuntish, so all is well. It was a quite weekend which I finished off with my usual wander around the city. I stumbled across a couple of photo opportunities, directly below is some intriguing art I saw while wandering, and below that is some astonishing wildlife I captured in the Tyne [genus: Ironus Brewius].
Anyway, works OK, life's OK. I even started a new cleansing and moisturising routine this week [if you care I switched from Clarins to Elemis - didn't think you did]. Only issue I have is that The GF keeps spending money on nonsense I don't need, but if that is as bad as it gets I can hardly complain, can I? Yes. And I do.
Booked a holiday, wasn't really looking but got a bargain on LastMinute.com so I just thought fuck, we were going to go to Greece, but the place looks fucking crazy at the minute.
Yeah, all in all, its been quiet, but enjoyably so. Just coasting at the moment, trying to free myself of stress, regain some inner calmness. I've decided if I can't regain the thread of editing my dealed novel, then I'm going to put it to sleep. Pick up one of the outlines I've got hovering in Google Docs and run with it, see if I can re-discover the love of writing again, that might just do the trick.
I've watched quite a few bits and pieces lately. Finished The Pacific, which ended with the best two episodes of the lot. Caught up with Doctor Who which was poor, and of course I watched the controversial episode of Lost, and while I enjoyed it, I'm firmly in the camp that it was a bit of a let down story wise, lets hope the three and half hour finale which starts tonight, and ends on Sunday makes up for it.
I also watched Kick Ass this week, which I thought was superb from start to finish. It was just perfectly done in every aspect, and while its never going to get into anyone's top twenty, I understand why it was so well received.
The only thing that I see flying at me over the horizon is that I'm quickly, and scarily running out of shows to watch, as I've said above Pacific has concluded, Lost does this Sunday [I'm gonna be fucking gutted], I've decided to drop SGU, it just got shit. I blasted through La La Land, Dexter is on hiatus. I've tried to watch a few new shows [some only new to me, if you catch my drift] like V, 30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and while they seem OK, none are really sticking, I'm seriously considering returning to either (or both) Mad Men or Breaking Bad, ironically I dropped around them both about two years ago as I had too many shows on the go. At the minute I'm trawling iPlayer or 4OD, which isn't all bad, as I did stumble on this gem I haven't seen in years - Brass Eye Special - Warning, do not watch if you love paedophiles.
Oh, I also wanted to say thank you for all the emails I received last week [there were over two], mostly in response to my Gollum story, so I thought I would recall another story from my youth, about being cleanly knocked unconscious by an under ripened pear. But I can't be bothered. Maybe next time. I also had a comment left [I delete my comments, as they get spam-raped a lot, so sorry I'm not being rude] about my chilli's, well, you will be pleased to hear that they are progressing like the proverbial beanstalk, and I can reveal that out of the seven shoots I have two or three that are already the same size as my [normal] sized Apple tree in my garden, and while I can not be bothered to upload the picture right now, I have photographic proof.
Anyway I'm boring myself now so I you must be ready to quit if you haven't already done so, and I'm getting Jack Daniels heart burn. The last thing I want to say is that you can now follow me on Twitter, I don't actually Tweat though, well very rarely. But you can see who I follow, [if your life is that empty you, I pity you].
